$2 Brown on Green, Red Provisional Surcharge

Violet HC, Type 51 red surcharge, "Rate $2 Per Bbl. Series 1898", the stamp has been torn and rejoined, deep dark color, three clear margins but just in at B., a Very Good example of this exceedingly rare stamp, with only two copies recorded both of which are quite faulty but this stamp is considered the Finest Known
